Spectacular Evening Cumulonimbus Cloud, Wichita Mountains NWR
My wife told me to take my tripod and full complement of lenses on this trip, but no-o-o-o...I said I was going for a book signing only and did not need all of my equipment. Needless to say, I was presented with this incredible cloud that I had to photograph. With no tripod and no wide angle lens, I had to improvise. So, I handheld my camera with a 60mm lens attached and took four overlapping pictures. Later, on my computer back home, I stitched them together for this panoramic image. Lessons learned!
